C84 VINTAGE ELEGANCE- TUTORIAL BY ADA NICHOLLS

WHAT YOU NEED: 

Photos:  3 x 4 x 6’’ portrait and 1 x 4” squared.

Paper:  2 x C 84 001 (Stripe) sheet and 1 x C84 004 (pink floral) 3 x plain black, 1 x plain pink cardstock.

Embellishments : Chipboard title (Days gone by) DC84 002 and Vintage clock DC84 012. Stencil DS 047 Rose bouquet.

Matting:   When matting add ¼” extra on each colour you matt with ie: photo size 4 x 6– matting 4 ¼ x 6 ¼”and so on.

Instructions:

Left page:

1.     Use the striped sheet and cut a 1 ½” (3.8cm)border all around the edges.

2.    Use grey and cut a piece 10 ¾ x 9 ½” (27.3  x 24 cm). Stick on the page against the right edge and making sure it is centered.

3.    Use the striped piece from the middle and stick on the grey also against the right edge.

4.    Use 2 x 4 x 6’’( 10 x 15 cm) photos an matt it on black. Stick these on the page as shown on the picture.

5.    Use the plain pink and cut 4 x ½ x 7” strips. (.8 x 17.8 cm). Put it through the Cuttlebug to emboss.

6.    Stick on the sides of the photos using foam core to lift it.

7.    Use plain pink and cut 4 strips   ½ x 7 ¼”. Put it through the Cuttlebug. Stick on the photos lifting it using foam strips.

8.    Use the reverse of the floral and cut 2 pieces:  1 ½ x 4” (3.8 x 10 cm) and 1 x 3 ½” (2.5 X 9cm) Cut a “V” at one end of each of the strips. Stick on the top left of the page.

9.    Cut 1 strip 1 x 2” (2.5 x 5cm). Cut a “V” at the end of the strip. Stick at the top.

10.  Add the rest of the embellishments.

11.   Refer to the picture for placement.

Right page:

1.          Use the striped sheet and cut a 1 ½” (3.8cm)border all around the edges.

2.         Use grey and cut a piece 10 ¾ x 9 ½” (27.3  x 24 cm). Stick on the page against the left edge    and making sure it is centered.

3.         Use the striped piece from the middle and stick on the grey against the left edge.

4.         Use black and cut a piece 6 x 10 ½”. (15 x 26.7cm). Stick on the page about ½” (1.2cm) from the left edge and 1” (2.5 cm) from the top edge.

5.         Use the pink floral and cut a piece 5 ¾ x 10 ¼” (14.6 x 26.1 cm). Stick it on the black.

6.         Use plain pink and cut a piece 5 x 7” (12.7 x 18 cm). Stick on the floral towards the top.

7.          Matt a 4” (10 cm) squared photo on black. Stick on the pink.

8.         Matt a 4 x 6” ( 10 x 15 cm) photo on black. Stick on the page next to the floral piece. 

9.         Use the plain pink and cut 4 x ½ x 7” strips. (.8 x 17.8 cm). Put it through the Cuttlebug to emboss.

10.       Stick on the sides of the photos using foam core to lift it.

11.        Use plain pink and cut 4 strips   ½ x 7 ¼”. Put it through the Cuttlebug. Stick on the photos lifting it using foam strips.

12.       Stick on the sides of the photos using foam core to lift it.

13.       Use floral and cut a strip 1 ½ x 2 ½” (3.8 x 6.3 cm).Cut a “V” at one end. Stick under the photo.

14.       Use reverse of the floral cut  1 x 1 ¾” (2.5 x 4.5 cm). Stick under the photo.

15.       Add the rest of the embellishments.
